چکیده
This study examined the influence of climate indices on vegetation dynamics in Kamuku national park, Nigeria. MODIS NDVI dataset was obtained from 2000 – 2021, while temperature and rainfall data were NiMet Kaduna international airport 1980 - 2015. Downscale Six-generation (Coupled Model Intercomparison Project Phase 6 (CMIP 6)) global model Copernicus 1850 2099. Coefficient variability, Mann Kendall correlation used to examine trend relationship. Subsequently, multiple linear regression assess dynamics. The result revealed that have moderate variability show a low normalized index vigour area. In addition, there is weak positive relationship between negative vigour. able explain 47 % (R2 = 0.47) variance park. The Scenario Model Intercomparison Project (ScenarioMIP) for CMIP6
Projections of future climate change play a fundamental role in improving understanding of the climate system as well as characterizing societal risks and response options. The Scenario Model Intercomparison Project (ScenarioMIP) is the primary activity within Phase 6 of the Coupled Model Intercomparison Project (CMIP6) that will provide multi-model climate projections based on alternative scen...
متن کاملIce Sheet Model Intercomparison Project (ISMIP6) contribution to CMIP6
Reducing the uncertainty in the past, present, and future contribution of ice sheets to sea-level change requires a coordinated effort between the climate and glaciology communities. The Ice Sheet Model Intercomparison Project for CMIP6 (ISMIP6) is the primary activity within the Coupled Model Intercomparison Project – phase 6 (CMIP6) focusing on the Greenland and Antarctic ice sheets. In this ...
متن کاملThe Dynamics and Variability Model Intercomparison Project (DynVarMIP) for CMIP6: assessing the stratosphere–troposphere system
Diagnostics of atmospheric momentum and energy transport are needed to investigate the origin of circulation biases in climate models and to understand the atmospheric response to natural and anthropogenic forcing. Model biases in atmospheric dynamics are one of the factors that increase uncertainty in projections of regional climate, precipitation and extreme events. Here we define requirement...
متن کاملThe Detection and Attribution Model Intercomparison Project (DAMIP v1.0) contribution to CMIP6
Detection and attribution (D&A) simulations were important components of CMIP5 and underpinned the climate change detection and attribution assessments of the Fifth Assessment Report of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change. The primary goals of the Detection and Attribution Model Intercomparison Project (DAMIP) are to facilitate improved estimation of the contributions of anthropogenic...
متن کاملInterannual climate variability seen in the Pliocene Model Intercomparison Project
Following reconstructions suggesting weakened temperature gradients along the Equator in the early Pliocene, there has been much speculation about Pliocene climate variability. A major advance for our knowledge about the later Pliocene has been the coordination of modelling efforts through the Pliocene Model Intercomparison Project (PlioMIP). Here the changes in interannual modes of sea surface...
